Frantix: A Puzzle Adventure

Frantix is a puzzle-adventure game for PSP with over 180 different levels. Playing as one of the characters, your goal is to collect as many gems as possible to progress through the world of Frantix. While there’s no story explaining why our hero heads to this land of puzzles, it’s clear you need to do it as fast as you can. Each stage requires gems, and you can exit once you’ve found the required amount. The puzzles are usually based around colored gems that open certain doors.

The game features six worlds (including a tutorial), where you deal with hazards like water and quicksand, avoid patrolling creatures, collect gems, move crates, sneak around, build bridges, and plant explosives. There are also power-ups that let you walk on certain surfaces, increase your speed, or grant invincibility. Thanks to the short levels, Frantix is just as fun to play for five minutes as it is for an hour.
